People drive because it's "convenient".
Drive to work to earn money, to pay for car, to drive to work.

I saw that article this morning...lovely. Hell, I resent taking PT to work
(feckin' laryngitis) never mind driving. You'd seriously have to pay me
extra for me to drive to work now that I'm working in the CBD.

bwahahahah. He dropped by tonight (he aint actually my 'next door'
neighbour. he lives about 5 doors down but we see each other and say
g'day most mornings...) and 'thanked' me cos the missus has been givin'

I suggested he buy a bike. He didn't say 'yes' but i could hear the

Unfortunately that is exactly what happens with a lot of them - the car
and parking space are part of their "rewards package". You and I get to
pay for the tax concession, and providing them with perfectly good
roads and clean air to screw up. Some of these "lucky" folk are smart
enough to say "I'll take the cash". Many employers don't permit this
smart option.
