Just proving once again that he can in fact read the Daily Wail on
line edition.

But, why would he want to ?

Ghod only knows.

I used to drive a car a lot also. Duhg Bollen.

It didn't happen. The whole thing was fabricated in a movie studio by
Jewish film directors using realistic dummies to gain international
sympathy and thus grab and retain a chunk of Arab territory and
accumulate weapons of mass destruction with help from a complicit US.
Duhg Bollens view of the Holocaust.

Duhg Bollen promised a report on how Vince can reduce his carbon
emissions by moving in November 2007. We're still waiting.

Hi Doug,
I'm surprised you did not pick up on a story in Bournemouth -

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/dorset/7829022.stm

Woman decided to park her car on the road outside her house as It
was her "right" - unfortunately blocking in an ambulance attending a
heart attack victim who subsequently died.
Que motorists defending the indefensible - would have died anyway -
blah blah blah
question use of "right" ? check local paper

There are so many I can't get them all and some are not even reported
by the media, bearing in mind that there are about 9 deaths every day
and 70 serious injuries.

Why would you want to?

Apart from writing off a perfectly good car.

And luckily no one was in the way this time to get killed.

Agreed

Still, it
would have just been regarded as an 'accident'

Are you saying she did this deliberately?

wouldn't it and the
vulnerable dead victim naturally blamed for getting in the way of the
car.

There was no dead anybody & blame depends on circumstances.

So instead of putting her foot gently down on the brake she somehow
slammed it on the accelerator and drove up on top of the £10,000

Chrysler Neon

Anyone who makes that sort of mistake probably should not be driving.

To accelerate that hard suggests that she really rammed her foot down -
even if she was intending to hit the brake, why was she braking so hard?

The worst mistake I've made was to forget that my car was still in gear
when I arrived at the end of a journey and let the clutch up - the car
lurched a foot or so before I got the pedal down again. I blame SWMBO (*)
who distracted me from my normal routine of clutch-down, gear lever into
neutral and waggle it to prove it, clutch up, engine off.

BWAHAHA since when has a mid-90s Neon been worth £10,000??? It's worth
£500 max!!

Like I said, no harm done. I wrote one off about 2 months ago. It's no big
disaster. I made a mistake. I've learnt. Where's the harm? (and no, no one
else was involved, it was purely my own fault, I was the only person
slightly injured etc). A Neon is not a good car either.

and the owner of that ****ty neon will get a far better motor with the
insurance payout.

I doubt it: the insurance money will probably not be able to replace the
car with one of the same standard, plus he's got the hassle of being
without a car while he is car-hunting.

Any car he buys with the insurance will be better than a Neon. Seriously.
I've driven a couple, at 10+ years old, they are horrible. They were
horrible when they came out the factory. For the money he'll get, he could
get a late 90s Mondeo which is an *infintitely* better car than a Neon.

In article 068a2640-a066-42ff-88b0-a0e1b5891cc2
@r41g2000prr.googlegroups.com, Doug says...

There are so many I can't get them all and some are not even reported
by the media, bearing in mind that there are about 9 deaths every day
and 70 serious injuries.

So only 1/30th of the number of deaths caused by cancer whose main
causation is smoking.

Why aren't you campaigning vigorously about smoking which harms 100% of
its participants? After all, it is absolutely 100% unneccessary to
everyone and serves no purpose whatsoever. At least cars transport
people and goods.

Doug wants an audience - you provide it.

Why don't you just ignore the ****wit, instead of feeding him the attention
he craves ?

"So very, very hard to explain away.

After all, the woman driver of this £18,000 Mercedes was only trying
to perform a three-point turn.

But as she found out to her - and her neighbours' - cost there's
getting it wrong and getting it very wrong.

So instead of putting her foot gently down on the brake she somehow
slammed it on the accelerator and drove up on top of the £10,000
Chrysler Neon parked in a drive in Ashtead, Surrey..."
