I've still got an old clunker buried in the back of the garage but its not fit to ride. I should wander on down to the Bike Barn when I get a chance. Yeah, go get that bike fixed and start pedalling I'd rather buy a new one. One with some suspension. An even better idea Went past the bike shop on the bus today. Its actually called the Bike Bug. Not sure where I got Bike Barn from (there was a place called that in Parramatta a few years ago). The shop has new signage so its probably a recent change. Well, as long as they still sell bicycles, you'll be right I really need to go in there one day. You won't believe how long it took to ride hands free. Doesn't help if the bike has wobbly rims either like one of my mountain bikes I eventually did it on a long, flat stretch of road. Afterwards, I used to wonder why I was so jittery about it before. I think stiffer steering helps. When I first used to try, I'd let go and the steering seemed to have a mind of its own. So I'd panic and garb the handlebars quickly. I had a friend who could do wheelies on my bikes (I used to lend him one and we'd ride together). But I could never master it. Can't do wheelies yet. Going to setup a small ramp to try jumping though - Danny MacAskill has a lot to answer for LOL! I am told they are quite rare and if my memory serves me right, it was a Yamaha. I'll check it out again when I see me mate this weekend - he's got it sitting in his lounge room cos he is still fixing it (yes, Gazza is a strange fellow ) I've seen stranger things in lounge rooms. I shudder to think How many times have you seen cars in lounge rooms on the TV news? ;-) Bloody hell! Now that is what I call keen! Very. Some drive them into bedrooms too. Even saw one that made it onto the second floor! I am not into golf but I'd love to be into a good looking 20 y.o chick The funny thing was they weren't too muscular like some sports women. They seemed to be just right. I sure they would be I should have asked them if they could show me their swing! :-) Yeah -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ipvdBnU8F8 - KRudd at his finest. "The Labour Party is corrupt beyond redemption!" - Labour hasbeen Mark Latham in a moment of honest clarity. "This is the recession we had to have!" - Paul Keating explaining why he gave Australia another Labour recession. "Silly old bugger!" - Well known ACTU ****pot and sometime Labour prime minister Bob Hawke responding to a pensioner who dared ask for more. "By 1990, no child will live in poverty" - Bob Hawke again, desperate to win another election. "A billion trees ..." - Borke, ****ed as a newt again. "Well may we say 'God save the Queen' because nothing will save the governor general!" - Egotistical ****head and pompous ****wit E.G. Whitlam whining about his appointee for Governor General John Kerr. "SHUT THE **** UP YOU DUMB ****!" - FlangesBum on learning the truth about Labour's economic capabilities. "I don't care what you ****ers think!" - KRudd the KRude Rat at his finest again. "We'll just change it all when we get in." - Garrett the carrott |
