Love you Kevin, busting out all the names. Yeah all those names are perfect. Some more corrosponding names. Sorry 'bout intruding here, I don't belong because I'm not very good yet and this isn't about skating, but I have a question. Okay, so it'll seem very dumb, but I would like to see someone find a massive rail to grind that's high enough to get on and flip the frame in a circle before the end of the grind. I hope that made sense to someone. I don't think anyone could/would do it, but it's a cool idea to me nonetheless. -- andrewfif Kris Holm quoted me, therefore I'm awesome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ andrewfif's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/12716 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/61016 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

It has been tried a couple times, by Dan Heaton for sure, and probably many others who fooled around with it. It is definitely posible, the trick is finding the right ledge. Has anyone ever grinded on both pedals at the same time? Like you jump up on to two parallel rails that are close enough to put a pedal on each one. I got the idea from a skate video in which this guy does a noseslide and a tailslide at the same time. Like in this video 'here' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJqizq2FjFY). -- Ohcrazyone ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ohcrazyone's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/13871 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/61016 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

For Sure. First I have to try a grind. Right now I'm a little busy breaking my seat with a sideways ww. -- andrewfif Kris Holm quoted me, therefore I'm awesome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ andrewfif's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/12716 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/61016 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

Kevin is 100% right, it would all be about to ledge. The trick would go down first or second try if the right ledge was found. However the ledge may not be the problem. This trick has to be done with your crank on the object. For stability, once you throw your seat you can't have your crank dangling by the pedal on the ledge, this would create wobble and there goes the energy for the seat to come around. Having the cranks on the ledge poses the big problem for the width of the seat. Your seat will hit the ledge when coming around. So really, either get a super skinny seat and this would be easy, or find a ledge the sticks out from it's foundation, start sliding, throw the seat behind you, so it completely misses the ledge, and when it comes around, it's past the ledge again in front of you. -Shaun Johanneson -- unifreak7 http://www.unicyclist.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ unifreak7's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/6137 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/61016 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- ** SPEED ** RETENTION ** COMPLETION ** ANONYMITY ** ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |
