Don't buy anything you don't need. Cut all bills you don't need. extra
phones, TV, lower your power bills, cut on gas, sell all extra cars,
go to thrift stores for clothes or shop in your attic. Tighten that
belt and save your cash. Screw these thieves.

well, yeah. This is generally good advice. At least as good now as
say during the Reagan years when it was your patriotic duty to consume
too much.

But, if everybody is following this advice, who would be buying the
used cars we are selling?

I recall no stimulus check under Reagan, but I certainly recall them
under Clinton. Mailed them off to my relations to spend on school
clothes, etc.

My government shouldn't be in the charity business.

Buying a used (car) is like going to a thrift store, which was one of
his recommendations. Or is my Catholic education failing me as
Obsessor says it is?

That's just stupid. Every day you hold fiat money it just loses value.

Take every dime you can spare, buy gold and silver and hold onto THAT.
