Old Bicycle questions. (Taurus)

My dad has an old Taurus bicycle in his garage. This thing seems like it is
a pre-60's bike with lights and generator still attached.
It is a dark green color. I want to find out more about this bike and I was
wondering if anyone knows where I can find more information such as
how to find out the date of manufacture etc...
Is there a market for these types of bikes?
Would it be wise to put this on E-bay?
