rec.bicycles.off-road was moderated and died [1] because the moderators
became too busy to approve posts in a timely manner. Somehow, the spam
still got through.

Get a better news-feed. Most days there are less than 5 spam posts that
do not get filtered on mine.

[1] Google shows one year to the day for the last on-topic post.
