BTW, I've never eaten at this place, but have a feeling

go next door to Campo de Fiori instead.

If you have a jet, go to Rome and eat at La Carbonara in the real
Campo dei Fiori, where real Italians know their articles.

Suspect this is a difference between standard and
dialect. You always have to watch out for the
inscrutable Italian dialects. Many sources write
Campo de' Fiori for the real place in Rome.

I'm not saying the restaurant will be a revelatory
experience, but it didn't seem overpriced for the quality,
which is a typical problem in A$pen. I was there with
an Italian and he enjoyed it (although we did have a
fun time debating whether the waiter was actually
Italian or just pretending and possibly Albanian).

Excuse the flipper fingers....

I have a question about the restaurant in question in Aspen. Lance
eats there three times a week? WTF? I don't eat at home three times
a week and I'd be damned if I'd eat in one restaurant that often.

Yeah I hear you. I never really know what to think
when someone is a regular at a restaurant, has their
special table, and so on. Can't they feed themselves?
Though Aspen isn't that big, so if you were going to
eat out a lot I guess you would start repeating yourself.
Maybe LANCE was ****ed off because this is the place
he goes to eat without being bugged by autograph
hounds and FBI agents. Or maybe they just kiss his ass
in the right way.

The main thing I noticed being there this year and not
having been in several years was a significant number
of Russian accents - must be the oligarch effect.
