Default Headlight brightness and features vs. price

Instead of just keeping up with the market, I want to take another leap ahead of everyone else.
As a new brand fighting for shelf space and market share, do I really have a choice?

Significant firmware and minor hardware changes will let me up the Oculus to 1800 lumens and implement automatic thermal control, instead of just thermal dimming.

That upgrade is in development now, to be introduced in early 2017.

But that leaves marketing decisions:
Since you guys are a lively opinionated bunch with a pulse on bicycle equipment, what do you think:

1. Upgrade Oculus and retain one model at the same price?
or
2. Upgrade and raise price, and by how much more would you still pay?
or
3. Split to two models,
a. The current v2 Oculus 1500 dumbed down a bit to 1400 and three settings with the price lowered to $140 or $135?
and
b. v3 Oculus 1800 with the higher output and features, and at what price? Same? Higher?

Also, would one of you in the SF Bay area like to be a test rider and reviewer of the new version 3, to post uncensored impressions of the new Oculus v3 on this list?
