Default 300 000 driving offences per year

According to Traffic Cops on C5 motorists commit 300 thousand offences per year.
Surely 300 million per day is nearer the mark.

Exceeding the speed limit is not only an offence but the most common crime in the world.
When the traffic light turns red it means STOP, not 'I have 10 seconds grace.'
