Certainly a lot more so than your lame effort. His advice was guesswork
at best.

all it takes is just one strike; I happened to be in the area at the
time, some clouds, no rain, no thunder then blam !!!! 3 hit in the
park, plenty of higher trees, construction cranes etc. around. 2nd
time I was close to a strike.

Hi there.

Tragically, one of those boys died last night shortly after 8 PM.

TORONTO - A five-year-old boy who was hit by lightning on Aug. 12 in
Brampton, Ont., has died at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children.

Hospital spokeswoman Judy Noordermeer said she could only confirm that
Kyus Caines had passed away and that it happened shortly after 8 p.m.
on Friday. Kyus and his 26-year-old mother, Dulcineia Caines, and a
three-year-old playmate were struck in a field while walking home.

The three-year-old boy and Kyus's mother were both released from
hospital within a few days.

Kyus was carrying a metal scooter over his shoulder and bore the brunt
of the lightning strike.

Not to be harsh, but that was a *bad* thing to be carrying over his
shoulder in a storm. Lightning takes no prisoners. After seeing foot
diameter trees blasted like dynamite I know lightning is way too
powerful to take *any* chances with. 30,000 amps at a billion volts is
nothing to take lightly.

Then, sir, if you actually believe that, you have a responsibility to
explain your point of view instead of just sniping. But, now you've sniped
twice, so I guess you actually don't have anything of value to add.
