Default Mavic Tubeless Mountain Rims Leaking

I had to replace a tire on a Mavic tubeless mountain bike rim and found that
it is leaking air through the spoke holes. I am completely baffled on what
caused this to happen because I have never had a problem with the rim
before.

Does anyone have any possible solutions?

are you sure it's a bona fide tubeless rim? which rim is it? how did
you diagnose the leakage? tubless rims don't have any conection that
allows air between the tire and the spoke holes, so unless you have a
simple problem like the valve or tire, or a major problem like a cracked
rim, it's hard to see how you can be experiencing this kind of thing.

Yes it is a tubeless rim, Mavic Crossmax UST Disc. The leaks were easy to
find. First I heard, then felt the air, and to be sure I used a liquid leak
finder. I put some slime tubeless sealant in and the problem went away.

The air path is through the valve hole into the rim box section, then
out through the "FORE" drilled spoke holes. The slime was a mistake -
what you really needed was to check, and possibly replace, the valve.
I've never had any problem, but I think Mavic's recommendation is to
replace the valve when you fit a new tyre. A bit of silicone grease on
the rubber part of the valve assembly wouldn't go amiss either.

so it's the valve. fix that and your problem disappears.
