Interesting. I've ordered from them numerous times with the two day Fed-Ex upgrade that comes with their discount program. I've never had a problem and they've backed their products 100%. Ditto here. And I like their store, too. They carry stuff that Performance and the LBS's don't or won't. Good service, too. Sold my gf her first mtb, did a great job sizing it and getting her on the right bike, instead of the most expensive one. Supergo's good in my book. Sorry about your luck. Regards, H. |

I just discovered that Supergo Bike Shops today (9/11/2004) charged my debit card $49.98. I haven't ordered anything from them in at least 2 months. It's possible that they've stored credit card information in a database that's been compromised. I called the phone number listed on my online bank statement and reached a salesperson for Performance Bikes. I was told to call back on a weekday when customer service will be in. So, if you've done business with Supergo/Performance, keep an eye on your credit card statements and any bank accounts associated with debit cards they might know about. This turned out to have a reasonable explanation. It's a carbon stem I ordered back in May. They had run out and had them on back order. So I DID authorize the charge. I'd just forgotten it. Customer service is sending a shipping label so I can return it to them for a refund. -- -------------------- Remove CLOTHES to reply |
