And I don't think anyone with a brain cell would expect a visor to protect
against much more than flies and small stones. The actual helmet is many
times more protective than the visor, so no surprise that he "only" suffered
facial, rather than head, injuries.

Without a helmet in a head-on collision with a lorry, the contents of his
head would be decorating the road.
