Default Police rush in as cyclist seriously injured after hit and run in Lincoln

Police were called to the incident and have now launched an investigation.

As part of their enquiries, police are asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time, or who may have any information about the incident to get in touch.

That's a *very* peculiar formulation.

Perhaps he stopped 50 yards further on?
