Default GBH charge for dangerous driver.

This must be the first case of GBH I've seen levelled at a dangerous
driver. Maximum of 5 years in jail as against the usual slap on the
wrist for the motoring offences.

I see the cyclist had life-changing injuries - looks like cycling can be quite
dangerous to me.

Simple Simon Mason - who cycles at 25mph in 20mph limits just because the limits do not apply to cyclists.
This includes exceeding the speed limit past three schools. A total disregard for the well-being of vulnerable road users.
The actions of a true psycholist.

Probably because it is linked with the fact he had stolen the vehicle.
Aggravated taking/GBH is neither a new nor an uncommon joint charge.

Not something I had noted before.
