Default Alt Kooks?

Ok...how did I get involved with the newgroup kooks? Is someone
trying to tell me something? Is this because some people post to more
than one group and by answering I end up a part of a different group?
Not that I mind being in a KOOK group. I have been told I am one heck
of a kooky broad. I think it might have something to do with asking
what white penis power is......ya think?

Maggie, you responded to a troll that had his post cross-posted to alt.kook.
It would be best for everyone if you simply didn't do that sort of thing. If
nothing else, be aware of what newsgroups you are posting to.

I believe that many in the kook newsgroup are mentally ill; then, there are
those who hang out there to bait them. It's a form of the medieval amusement
of going to the insane asylum and gawking at the inmates. To me, it's
reprehensible. You unwittingly participated by responding to the troll.
Please don't.

Many thanks.

HTH,

If we are using that rule, I think you have some riding to do. As much
posting as you do, I think you owe us some miles;-)

More riding, less posting;-) Today I ride. Actually, looking at the
weather forecast, I should be able to ride the next 5 days.

150 miles a week, yeah I'm probably double that. Since I've been posting
here over a year, I'd suggest that I'm no longer an rec.bicycles.misc
newbie, though, and not subject to that rule.

I try to only post quality info, or start interesting threads. I suggested
maybe I should stop posting here and several of the regulars objected.

But that is a good idea. After today I'm going to stop posting here and do
it on a blog, instead.

The posts went through the roof two weeks ago b/c I was doing a sleep
deprivation study, and was up 24 hrs a day for a week (got 7 hours).

So apologies to the group for the constant babble from me as I transitioned
several milestones, clipless riding and soforth. I finished the experiment
last Wed.

And to you thanks for the gentle shove out the door, I needed it, bro.
