Alt Kooks?
Ok...how did I get involved with the newgroup kooks? Is someone
trying to tell me something? Is this because some people post to more than one group and by answering I end up a part of a different group? Not that I mind being in a KOOK group. I have been told I am one heck of a kooky broad. I think it might have something to do with asking what white penis power is......ya think? It would be best for everyone if you simply didn't do that sort of thing. If nothing else, be aware of what newsgroups you are posting to. I believe that many in the kook newsgroup are mentally ill; then, there are those who hang out there to bait them. It's a form of the medieval amusement of going to the insane asylum and gawking at the inmates. To me, it's reprehensible. You unwittingly participated by responding to the troll. Please don't. Many thanks. -- Warm Regards, Claire Petersky please substitute yahoo for mousepotato to reply Home of the meditative cyclist: http://home.earthlink.net/~cpetersky/Welcome.htm Personal page: http://www.geocities.com/cpetersky/ See the books I've set free at: http://bookcrossing.com/referral/Cpetersky |

Life is Good! Jeff 150 miles a week, yeah I'm probably double that. Since I've been posting here over a year, I'd suggest that I'm no longer an rec.bicycles.misc newbie, though, and not subject to that rule. I try to only post quality info, or start interesting threads. I suggested maybe I should stop posting here and several of the regulars objected. But that is a good idea. After today I'm going to stop posting here and do it on a blog, instead. The posts went through the roof two weeks ago b/c I was doing a sleep deprivation study, and was up 24 hrs a day for a week (got 7 hours). So apologies to the group for the constant babble from me as I transitioned several milestones, clipless riding and soforth. I finished the experiment last Wed. And to you thanks for the gentle shove out the door, I needed it, bro. -B |

HTH, -B If I post a message for every mile I ride I will only be able to post one message a week at this point. Give an old lady newbie a break. She doth like this newsgroup (and it keeps me interested in the bicycle I bought.) Plus if I post too much or ramble, you can disregard and just go to next message and I will never know the difference. I am slowing learning about newsgroups. I shall improve. Peace to you Badger South. |
