GOOD MORNING ! We're here at Daytona Beach Int Speedway for the 24 Hrs. Great weather....squalls with temps falling into the 30's by 2AM. Portland East.

Super racing yesterday, crafty 2nds waiting for the rabbit to run off or choke. Large collection of clubman Ferrari drivers then Mustangs/Camaros/Porsche boxers....Porsche off course then Camaro losing both 1 Mustangs. BAU.

The series sponsor, a distiller has an interesting entry, a tunnel car coupe with inlets tubes shelves and GKW. Radar is had finding here so ? The Ford guys looked unhappy and are plump. Plump ? Yeah the fat pit crew. Eco-Fat ? too many rutabagas.

Outside on a construction fence are mesh posters encouraging bicycle safety with car and pedestrian. I guess that's geared to the NASCAR crowd.
The management is rebuilding grandstands...very metro deluxe...spacious ...alloy floors easter egg seats...no puke ****ters.

A knockout if you're in from Pascagoula.

Walking back into the arena at 3AM after a nap is the greatest spectacle in racing. Walk up to the fence above banking, lights shining down from the darkness above....sea breeze...and cars screaming around below you at arms length. Unworldly as you're alone there in a huge enormous lit space cars going by RRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr down into the night.

This is a better class of off-topic, Gene, and almost comprehensible. Congratulations.

weather is AAA with rain squalls for the clubman's Ferrari 458 race max slithering with a 1-2-3 race for the lead headed by a Brazilian Wildman making several wild moves throttle down. Retook the lead then hormoned aquaplaning thru the next puddle leading back onto the banking. Best was a wide wide turn onto the apron in the first turn after braking maybe 150-60 up near the crash barrier with one long seeping movement....had not seen this one before esp in rain. Usually a spin. Car 3 won.

Ford looks good as sun set into a very clear blue sky. The Gt parade is competitive with 2 corvettes, factory 011 variant, a 458+, and BMW Z coupe.

Race is NASCAR style where a yellow is all course so the firld bunches up for race 2-3-4-5-6 .....

The bicycle sign is AAA
