Default Question for Frank

Some time ago you mentioned that you were going to test a Chamois
Cream ( otherwise know as grease :-). Did you? And was the test
successful?

At this point, I'm not sure what that was all about.

The short answer is, no, I never tested any Chamois Cream. Most of my
rides (if not my miles) are done in normal clothes anyway.

ISTR someone claiming that Noxema medicated face cream helped prevent
saddle sores. Maybe that was the issue. The only time I've had
problems with saddle sores (at least, since the 1970s) has been on
multi-day tours, and I haven't done one of those for almost two years.
But I've got one planned for this summer; so, thanks for the reminder.

yeah howabout it Frank ? I remeber the boast abt testing chamois crème no problem.

Slowcum....wade down to the super duper n fetch a thinwalled grocery bag.

place the bag over your saddle n tie the handles together around the post.

the plastic tweenbrain allows slippage ordinarily tearing
micro-fissure in your buttskins thru which tropical bacteria enter to party

Apparently I misread as I thought you said something like, "somebody
said that XYZ made a good chamois cream; I'll try it out", and I
assumed that you were starting a trial, and wondered how the stuff had
worked.
