This is a bit more up to date (April 3, 2015) and more informative:
"An Update On The Great Copenhagen Vs. Flykly Electric Bike Wheel
Debate: Where are they now?"
http://thebiketube.com/blog/update-great-copenhagen-vs-flykly-electric-bike-wheel-debate-where-are-they-now
There are some interesting comments and history in the article and in
the reader comments.

But when you install an electric motor on a bicycle doesn't it become
a Motor Cycle :-?

Or is my Harley Davidson with the engine bigger then my wife's car
engine a Bi-Cycle :-))

Nope. It's an eBike or E-Bike.
Decisions of the trade press are final.

Is the engine a 2 cycle or 4 cycle?
Maybe something like a Four cycle Bi-Cycle?
This is what happens when we re-cycle technical terms.

Does an "E-Bike" go 80 miles an hour? I noticed an article on the Web
about some guy that built several electric motorcycles that are that
fast.

But if a bicycle with an electric motor is an "E-Cycle" what is a
person powered bicycle? A P-Cycle"? Or perhaps to be politically a
M-Cycle and a F-Cycle and maybe even an "O-cycle (for the other sex)?

Or is my Harley Davidson with the engine bigger then my wife's car

Harley did manufacturer a 2 cycle back when I was a young lad but I
think that was the only one... that they actually made :-)

Made in Santa Cruz, err... nearby Scotts Valley CA.
Top speed is 95/100 mph.

To be fair, they also make an electric bicycle:
http://electricbikereport.com/tag/nts-works/
http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/general-news/20130917/nts-works-neal-saiki-of-santa-cruz-unveils-electric-cargo-bike-for-4800
It's mostly a cargo bike so high speed is not an option.

Ok, I give up. There are exactly 26 letters of the alphabet, which
limits you to exactly 26 creative prefixes to bike. Well, maybe 25
since Apple owns the "i" prefix. Like TLA's (three letter acronyms),
we'll eventually run out of prefixes. Get your prefix before we run
out.

Incidentally, a person powered bicycle is an HPV (human powered
vehicle):

Then a 2 cycle engine would be a bi-cycle and a 4 cycle would be a
quad-cycle. A 2 cycle engine on a bicycle would be a bye-bye-cycle.

Maybe something like a Four cycle Bi-Cycle?
This is what happens when we re-cycle technical terms.

Have we hit bottom yet?

I think you need a dictionary.

CW would be the Copenhagen Wheel. Yep. The article I mentioned
indicated that it was original designed as a platform for sensors, not
an eBike. Changing the product direction in midstream is truly
impressive when done properly, but in this case, seems only to have
produced delays.

Beatties overjoyed abt or is the Gestation an admission of FLUB

Given only those two choices, the probable outcome will be neither.
Rubbing my crystal ball for a look into the future, I would expect the
Copenhagen Wheel to eventually be delivered in a somewhat unfinished
manner. If it has potential, it will then be cloned by a horde of
more agile and capable companies. If nobody clones it, it will be
either an indication of its lack of value, or a general fear of the
MIT IP (intellectual property) legal machinery. Eventually, someone
will injure themselves with the wheel, sue, and end up owning the
company. Some day, we might all end up riding on such a wheel, but it
probably won't be produced by the originators.

oool and a http://goo.gl/q6mtzz shipped next week....

the area iznot on my research list.

and when I look at the area, I develop migraine syptoms then I think of turning laps at Florida's test track.

an alternator/battery/motor plus the now standard 21C idiot lights ( funding my next yacht)

what's the big deal ?

someone decreed the package needs fit into one small space not 3 ?

is this the prob ? or have I missed the idea completely ?

the public Visa in hand awaits or awaited...

CW truly blew their launch PR....yeyyyahhhahah zoooommmmfiiizzzzooooooduhblatflat________________ _________________o

KRUP !

again....

we believe the hub folk whose factory I tracked down are fooling with the idea back in the garage but as yet have no world beater

that CW would out maneuver those guys ?
