Best stage since...

Been watching the Tour since 78 so got quite a lot pick from, let's
see :

1986 - Hinault who blew up the Peloton on Marie-Blanque with Bernard
and Delgado does it again the next day but blows up in Luz Ardiden and
loses the Tour although he had a bad day on the Izoard too and then
goes at it again in the Alpe d'Huez

1998 - Ullrich blows up in the storm, and loses 8+ minutes, he attacks
the next day, but unlike Landis takes off with the Yellow Jersey,
Pantani so he fais to win the tour.

2003 - Luz Ardiden again when it looks like Ullrich is going to ride
off Armstrong off his wheel in the Tourmalet and then the infamous
fall at the foot of Luz

and recovers and brings Delgado back.
