Ski on excellent mountains, then drive 2 hours and mountain bike on great
trails?

I live in Victoria BC, and it is with in a 2 hour drive to get to Mount
Washington. Victoria is within 20 min drive to Mount Work/Hartland.

Mount Washington has the snow. Mount Work has the dirt.

And, to think I will be moving away from here
..

And you have sea kayaking, higher speed limits, hiking trails to die for,
massive trees..... Got to love it. Now I know why the slogan on the license
plates says "Beautiful British Columbia"

I know a place where in the winter the skiing is usually good and a
couple hours drive West is some mountain biking that people seem to
like. The summer skiing isn't quite as plentiful but the truly dedicated
ski all year. I'd rather ride during the summer.

I bet there's a few places like that.

Matt
