Many thanks for the extremely interesting link. But let us share this with
all the denizens of these lowly cycling newsgroups. They deserve some
culture and refinement too.

What is presented is a graphical score animation of the lst movement of the
Beethoven 5th. It shows with absolute clarity the complexity involved with
the simplest 4 note motive ever in the field of fine art music. View this
YouTube video and marvel all over again at the genius of Beethoven. Yes, the
Beethoven 5th is a warhorse, but for good reason. The entire 5th Symphony is
in fact a perfect work of art. As Mr. Sherman has pointed out in a previous
message to these newsgroups, there have only been a few hundred individulas
in the entire history of the human race who were capable of composing
classical fine art music. That is how complex it is. And the Beethoven 5th
is perfect!

I wish that Stephen Malinowski would do the same for the final movement
of Haydn's 104th - another piece built around one simple melodic idea.
