Trike-specific shops?
Hello,
Do any of you know of bike shops that mainly deal with trikes? If so, I'd love to know more about them. I did a Google search, but, like normal, just retrieved a bunch of motorcycle-trike links... Do you think there's a need for more trike shops? If so,what would make such a shop "trike-specific". Regards, Cullen |

Trike-specific shops?

Othre recumbent specialists (i.e., Kinetics in Glasgow) usually have a couple to play with. Most trikes sold beyond the toddler market these days seem to be recumbents. If you want an upright then there are a few recognised specialists, like Longstaff/Cyclon. Google should find all of the above. Do you think there's a need for more trike shops? A bit like recumbent bikes, while notionally I'sd like to see a dealer on every corner it's really down to the laws of supply and demand. The market is small so doesn't support many dealers, and those it does support are sufficiently specialist to be worth a trip. If so,what would make such a shop "trike-specific". A selection of tricycles to ride combined with considerable knowledge concerning those and the others available on the market. Pete. If you book a session with Kevin of DTek he'll take you through the entire recumbent family and all info about them. Definitely worth a visit. No web site though. He's located in Little Thetford about a 15 minute cycle ride from Ely station. Chris |
