Default GT 95 goes down highway to hell

I got sick of repairing that age old GT from 95. So after the
derailleur hanger failed and sent the dame thing in to the rear wheel.
Trashing the wheel and derailleur on my commute to work GT. The steel
ride has been replaced by AL frame Quest. At a deal I couldn't refuse
since replacing part on GT would have cost about the same.
