I have a 30 year old MSc in 'Modern Electronics'. Do you think that would be considered valid if I applied for a job as an electronics engineer? Electronics has changed a lot more than cars. What percentage of drivers think cyclists must use cycle paths and/or are not permitted to cycle on the road next to a cycle path? The Highway Code clearly states cycle facilities are optional. When I took my driving test the HC did not mention cycle facilities. Same applies to ASL's or mobile phones. Didn't you just try to argue that 20mph limits don't apply to you because they didn't exist when you took your test? |
