Most likely, because of a stupid "biologist" like you.

Most likely, the mountain lion will not be killed due to there being
no lion to kill. The follow-up reports on this incident, which
included DNA tests of the victim's clothing, showed no traces of a
mountain lion, no mountain-lion hairs, nor any evidence of claw marks,
even on clothing. The tracker they hired couldn't find anything.
There were also no mountain bikes involved - those are not allowed on
these particular trails - so why the incident would be posted on a
mountain-biking newsgroup is not clear. So far, it appears that the
"victim" took a tumble for unknown reasons and thinks he saw an animal
roll down the hill and run away. He thought it was a mountain
lion. Nobody knows what caused the tumble. The police interviewed him
several times and will not charge him with knowingly making a false
report - he was probably confused after his tumble.

Curiously, the cross posting was started by Mike Vandeman in
. where the
newsgroups expanded to include rec.bicycles.soc, rec.backcountry,
ca.environment, and sci.environment. I saw the thread on another
newsgroup and followed it upwards to the first or second post.

I will not respond to any followups to this post - I'm not
subscribing to alt.mountain-bike.

I already did. I don't lie. Mountain bikers like you are incorrigible
liars. I have never seen any group of people who lie more than
mountain bikers. "Liar" is their middle name. Did I point out that
they lie a lot?

Mike's position is that a mountain biker chased the lion out of
hiding, and
it subsequently attacked the hiker. It's the mountain biker's fault.

And mountain biker wanabees are ALSO liars.

Michael J. Vandeman has been caught lying just about every day, amybe
that's why his wife left him.

JS
Did she leave him for another woman?

/JS

Why are you insulting women? Or did you mean "Did she leave him for a
woman?"

My apologies to women everywhere.

My meaning wasn't that Mike is a woman, but that since his left him for a
woman, the use of "another" was in reference to someone like here not
someone like him.

Of course, on that note, leaving Mike for someone like him would not be a
move in the right direction ...

Can't you guys do ANYTHING but lie?

It's hard to lie as much as you, but we should get points for trying.

How is it a lie?

Because it's not true. DUH! But of course, you already knew that, when
you deliberately LIED.
