Ed Dolan banned by Google for terms of use violation???

"JimmyMac" wrote in message oups.com... Readers, Go to any of Ed Dolan's posts and click on "view profile" and you will get the following ... "This account has been banned because it violated the Google Groups Terms Of Use". Could it be really be true that Google has scuttled the GRATE one ... HEAD Dolan??? Google is feckless and irrelevant - just like you are. If they could not ban Ed Gin, the criminal vandal troll who destroyed ARBR, how in hell could they ever ban Ed Dolan the Great, the most benign influence ever to infest Usenet. Jesus Christ, get a life you creep! Usenet was the showcase for Ed Dolan's unharnessed ego. If one looks beyond the superfluous, pleonastic gibberish of the ubiquitous equal opportunity annoyer, one realizes that for Ed Dolan, the computer and the Internet were merely tools tot fill a social void. By his own admission, Ed lives detached in reclusive solitude, devoid of real- life interpersonal relationships. Internet forums are Ed's cyberspace playpen and serve as ersatz social interaction that only momentarily disrupts his otherwise self-sequestered isolation. The sanctimonious hermit had little more than ARBR from which to derive meaning in his life. Usenet newsgroups (particularly ARBR) assumed an exaggerated prominence in Ed's hierarchical order of relevance and emerged as the source from which he garnered his sense of accomplishment and self- esteem. Regardless of his expressed opinion of the readership, without the lifeblood of the Usenet newsgroup audience to sustain him, Ed Dolan had nothing and was nothing. How will he survive his downfall ... not that I care??? Usenet forums in general and ARBR, in particular, will profit from Ed's demise and his absence. The above paragraph should have been broken up into several, but Mr. McNamara will never learn how to write anything that anyone in their right mind would ever want to read. Unlike the Great Ed Dolan, he writes only for himself. You errant opinion has been noted. A singular paragraph was appropriate since the context contained within was of a singular theme. As for my writing, I will allow your own words to counter your own words ... "Jim, I am saving your post to My Documents. It is a masterpiece! I admire your style enormously. I am taking notes and hope someday to be able to emulate you." Jim McNamara Does anyone know where I can send Google a thank you note as a token of my appreciation? Yea, send it to the ether because that is where Google exists. Regards, Ed Dolan the Great - Minnesota aka Saint Edward the Great - Order of the Perpetual Sorrows - Minnesota |

Nope, break up your paragraphs. There is not 1 in a 100 souls on these newsgroups who can cope with a paragraph by the great writer Tolstoy. Even I, the Great Ed Dolan, have trouble with paragraphs that are overly long. Always remember, there is no one on these freaking cycling newsgroups who are reading you except fellow idiots. That is ever the source of my genius and my karma to know this. As for my writing, I will allow your own words to counter your own words ... "Jim, I am saving your post to My Documents. It is a masterpiece! I admire your style enormously. I am taking notes and hope someday to be able to emulate you." Mr. Jim McNamara is actually a very good writer if only he would discipline himself more. Remember one thing, you must never write for yourself; you must always write for others. Try to visualize others hanging on your every word and you will not use so many. Note how Mr. Tom Sherman of ARBR always leaves us wishing he had said more than he did whereas you always leave us feeling like you said more than you should.
