Yup. They should also have an extra (doubled) panel around the top 4-5
inches, so your partner doesn't torque your shorts if he grabs your jamming
tool.

I have an "old school" pair of madison shorts from the early 80s.
Approximate size 32 american. IIRC the brand is "Kucharac", but I
doubt I'm spelling that correctly. Woolies from the pre lycra era.
They probably don't have the anti torque feature you mentioned but
they'll protect your jammer.
They're just sitting in a drawer now. I'm willing to pass them on to a
"good family".

I believe the correct spelling is "Kucharik". They are still around
and selling wool cycle clothing and their prices are pretty
reasonable.

Probably mean Kucharik and they're still in business though I'm sure they
haven't made Madison shorts in a heck of a long time. I'd be willing to bet
that Johnny's son could made some up on special order though.
