I had never seen that latter video in its full length before.

Did he really cycle away without leaving his name, address,
fridge-freezer insurance details, etc?

So what's this information they're looking for? The police think it might be the parked car's fault?

A devout Muslim entered a black cab in London. He curtly asked the cabbie to turn off the radio because as decreed by his religious teaching, he must not listen to music because in the time of the prophet there was no music, especially Western music which is the music of the infidel.
The cab driver politely switched off the radio, stopped the cab and opened the door.
The Arab asked him, "What are you doing?"
The cabbie answered, "In the time of the prophet there were no taxis, so **** off and wait for a camel!!"

His family could, if they caught the unsafe overtaking driver who caused
the crash.

"A CYCLIST has died at a Southampton hospital after a crash with a parked
car"
"Parked car",
"It is understood that the man had lost control of his bike in the moments
before the collision and come into contact with the stationary vehicle"

So where is the unsafe overtaking driver who caused the crash?

79 years old. no lost earnings, no dependants.
His spouse will continue to collect his pension.
If no spouse his heirs inherit.
Where are the damages?
This isn't America.
