Pass the salt. Indeed. This particular victim had no taste to it at all. Sometimes the critters are rather bitter tasting. Of course, the fellow completely bypassed my taste buds slamming into the back of my throat, so perhaps salt would not have been necessary. At least he ended up in my stomach. Too often they're in my lungs! SMH |

First Bug of the Season
"Stephen Harding" wrote in message news:Kvf1g.2975$UK5.1265@trndny01... Inhaled my first bug of the season on my commute home tonight. Thought I'd share. No bug protein yet. After plotting my lake run on that Google Ma utility I decided to do it for real. Not quite as long. I turned back shortly after the dam. Damn but there were a lot of chipmunks out and about. Wish I'd brought some sunflower seeds. |

A large fly of the Northern Ohio sort, sucked into my left nostril like a goony bird in a C130. Difference is the C130 can't do a snot rocket. And trust me, this was a personal best, launch speed must've exceeded 120mph. Saw the little bastid hit the pavement. Ron |

Roger, If a bug in your lungs is *swimming*, you might want to head for the ER and be started on Lasix and antibiotics. It's likely you have pneumonia ;-) |

Any bug works its way down to my stomach has a 50/50 chance of experiencing what's known as "Death by Guacamole" or--in its original Latin--Guacamoliosis. It ain't pretty. |
