"We don't know if it had been consuming alcohol"

So cyclist are not people after? I hope that was a mis-quote or typo.

Maybe Sgt Wholloper was implying the backpack had been imbibing:

"In the bicyclists backpack, there were several beer bottles," Sgt. Max
Verduzco said. "We don't know if it had been consuming alcohol. We're
waiting for the coroner's autopsy. That will determine whetner alcohol
was a factor."

The cab drier was not injured. The name of the bicyclist was not
immediately released.

"cab drier" WTF? Another sloppy case of ****poor proof reading.

lol! I put a typo in my post as well. However mine wasn't on purpose,
simply in the spirit of the article.

On 2006-11-14, Rhubarb (aka Bruce)
was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea:
"We don't know if it had been consuming alcohol"

So cyclist are not people after? I hope that was a mis-quote or typo.
