Default yokel sees the bright lights!

Hi all, I am heading to melbourne on 26 june for a couple of weeks t
uphold the belief that i need to see my family every so often. Comin
from Perth where we have only had traffic lights for 10 years, i though
maybe the melbournites on the forum could direct me towards some good
fast training rides during the week and on the weekends, as of course
my bike will be coming along for the ride. I am going to give th
infamous hells ride a go but as i will be on holidays i want to go ou
on a ride every morning so any info would be greatly appreciated. O
course i will have to also catch on the exploits of a certain afl tea
that i rabidly support that will remain nameless until such time as
have some info......only joke

go the dons

just follow Flinders St East for approx 5km and just past the larg
white town hall on the flat on yer lef

Kew Boulevard or perhaps follow the 48 tram line (Flinder St headin
east again and just keep following the left most tramtrack) till you ge
to the end (Balwyn Rd terminus) and keep going out Doncaster Rd unti
you are fed up and head back agai

check out http://www.thehippy.ne

Let me guess... Pie fan? Blues? Hawks? Surely only the fan of a
sliding club can be that vehement... (as I was after round three, of
course) Go Dons!

I'm sure there were traffic lights when I moved there in 1961. You don't
remember 1961 do you?

Mate, as you are an Essendon supporter, I have to help.... seeing a
they are the greatest team in the AFL! Go Bombers

Corner of North Road and Nepean Highway in Brighton leaves at 6.00 a
each weekday morning and is worth a ride (Tues and Thurs are faster) an
also Sat mornin Hell Ride at the Black Rock clock tower

Sunday mornings there is also a ride that replicates the Hell Ride (bu
slower) and it starts from Sandringham Footy Ground (on beach Road) a
7.00 am. Don't know the name of it though

Good luck.:

Yeah, heard that one too. Very similar to the Christians-Matthews on
back in the ninetie

Being a (cant believe Im admitting this) Hawks fan Im taking u
following the table tennis! Having a pack of losers-non-tryers and a cry
baby nancy coach is just too much!!

I was 'involved' in the DonScott Hawk-on-a-Melbourne-jumper stunt and a
just appalled at the current state of affairs. You should see wha
Crawfs rides tho! A beee-ewe-tifoool Ti Colnago, no less!!
