Default Q: Replacing Campy Chainrings

I just replaced the badly-worn 50t chainring on a Campy Record compact
crank. And I'm left with one part: a very thin (0.004") shiny metal
washer. It fits over the threads but not the actual shoulder of the odd
bolt that threads into the crankarm.

Can someone tell me where it goes?!

Do you have a crank where one of the bolts fits the back of the crank?

If so, I believe that thin washer goes between the crank and the chain ring.

Spacer FC-RE006 goes between the ring and the chainring seat
on the back of the crank arm:

I couldn't find any images of the 2005 tech manual online.

Thanks, Andrew and Emanuel. I was surprised to not find the appropriate
diagram on the web.
