WTB: Shimano bar end shifters
"Jeff Wills" wrote in message om... (Milsk8) wrote in message ... 8 or 9 speed, preferably dura ace or ultegra. email me if you have an offer thanks FWIW: Shimano makes only one grade of bar-end shifters- they're not "Ultegra" or "Dura-Ace" anything. There was a set compatible withe the peculiar 8-speed Dura-Ace shifting, but that's moot since Shimano's standardized their indexing. I've got several bikes with them, including one 7-speed set. They don't wear out. Jeff Interesting, the box that my SL-BS77 bar-end shift levers came in says Dura-Ace all over it. |

They were 8 speed NON-Dura-Ace compatible.... Given the low volume of bar end shifters, I wonder if Shimano only prints up one box and slaps different labels on the end for different models. |
