Hi all, I'm cycling around the IOW next weekend. Can anyone recommend
cafes around the Bembridge to Shanklin area where I can have tea and
cakes.I will also be looking for the a cafe open on Sundays in Cowes.
Whilst on the subject of Cowes how much does the chain ferry cost for
bike and myself? TIA
Taz

If you go to Godshill... The Old World Tea Gardens. Homemade scones and
cakes, yummy cream teas, should point out that I'm biased- my Daughters run
it !!

If in Bembridge I'd head for the Crab & Lobster pub.
Brading area - The Yarbridge Inn

I'm afraid I'm better on pubs than cafes but I can be of more help on
the ferry info: as far as I can remember, it's free for peds & bikes.

Chain ferry is free for bikes. In Bembridge I've used a café with
outdoor seating by the harbour front before you get into the main town.
Its roughly about the position marked on this map http://tinyurl.com/ype8v

You can find info about other places at

entrance.
