Cincinnati Installs Lane Markings To Increase Safety For Cyclists
"Garrison Hilliard" wrote in message ... Drivers in Cincinnati can expect to see some new lane markings on streets soon. [snip] The markings will include a bicycle symbol with double arrows at the top and they will be placed every few hundred feet on the pavement. [snip] You could use an even more obvious symbol. Why not pay an actual cyclist on an actual bicycle to tide up and down the road in question. If the budget stretches to it, have several cyclists. The combined bike + cyclist would be close to six feet tall and two hundred pounds in weight. That ought to be even more visible than a painted symbol on the roadway, and so might be an even better reminder. Jeremy Parker |
