Obvious, innit - they are installing a new farcility especially for those
who enjoy cyclocross ;-)

The first photograph shows that they have recognised the dangerous
nature of the "tactile" strips on the cycle "facility" and are
diverting cyclists over the less dangerous "tactile" strips on the
other side. Hopefully they will increase safety (for pedestrians and
cyclists) by removing the "tactile" strips on the cycle path when
the work is completed.
