Default IQ

This always happens on these on line tests. I think they peak at 140. I
never go past this point on these because they want to sell me something.
Bill Baka (no BS)

Notice it does not mention my personality type as nutty bicyclist.
The 140 (this test) should explain why I like to turn my own wrench.

Bah.

IQ tests are meaningless. Sure, they might be able to measure some
abstract abilitiy when it comes to mathematics, pattern recognition and
spatial comprehension, blah blah blah. I took those all the time when
I was about 18. What do they tell you? A number. Big deal. For the
record, I also got a 140.

The real question is: What are you going to do with your life? IQ
tests don't measure whether a person has goals, how committed he/she
is, nor if their goals are in line with anything remotely realistic.
Oh, and they tell nothing of how you deal with other people or
creativity problem solving, which are probably much bigger factors in
acquiring wealth, status, success and a happy, fulfilled life than what
some online test tells you about yourself.

Same thing for all those who want to join Mensa. What's the point? To
sit around drinking cocktails talking about how smart you are and how
difficult life is when you're a genius? No thanks...

Do? Haven't you been following the Iron Bill ($hit! Owe Sornson
another dime....) story??

It's like George Plimpton and Homer Simpson had a love child!

Of course they do. They're designed for people dumb enough to click
when it says "click me". Sheesh! even an idiot like me knows that.

I think that is as far as they go on line. As far as I could tell I aced it.

The real question is: What are you going to do with your life?

At 56 I am still working on it. There is plenty of time left.

IQ

some online test tells you about yourself.

I am not worried about acquiring wealth since I have been in a position
of having way too much money in the past and it did not make me happier.
The 140 explains in part why I do such crazy and reckless things, mostly
out of boredom. Being rich enough to die in a mansion surrounded by
servants and beneficiaries counting my days is not where I want to be.
If I kill myself on a bike I will have as Frank Sinatra said, "did it my
way.".

Same thing for all those who want to join Mensa. What's the point? To
sit around drinking cocktails talking about how smart you are and how
difficult life is when you're a genius? No thanks...

That is exactly why I did not join. One meeting was more than enough.

I used to get over 150 on brain.com until they started becoming too
obnoxious. This site let me finish then tried to sell me an on line
college program. I also look at the HTML source code before I click on
anything like that since I do know how to program a redirect to click on
one thing and be sent somewhere else. I also have about 150MB of
firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-everything else when I am on
line. I don't think anything is going to get past the line of defense I
have up.

.. . . having a little difficulty squaring:

- being referred to as self-righteous, and
- being called inferior by the one *calling me* self-righteous

Quite the conundrum.

Can you shed a little light on that for me, Bill? I'd be grateful.

Since I came to you for help on this, I can only assume . . .

Bill? You're my mommy?

Mom? Can I have a bike? Preferably a Moots??
