Default IMBA Continues Promoting Habitat Destruction Everywhere

They continue spreading the same old myths: building new trails "increases tourism and hence improves the economy, reduces conflicts on the trails, improves people's health, and is fun". (But what the heck is "more progression"???)

More trails close to home starts with you

We’re inviting you to be a part of the future of more great mountain biking opportunities where you live, work and play!

IMBA is celebrating 30 years of creating, enhancing and protecting great places to ride mountain bikes. More than ever, we are focused on creating and catalyzing more trails close to home and invite you to join with us in making that happen.

Bid in our year-end auction, now through October 31, to support more trails close to home. Check out some of the things you could win:

Stowe, VT: Two-night stay for two at the Trapp Family Lodge with a guided MTB ride and brewery tour

Prescott, AZ: Lodging, meals, bike rentals and a guided tour of the area’s best trails from U.S. Olympic mountain biker Chloe Woodruff

Grand Targhee, WY: Three nights lodging, lift tickets and entry to the Wydaho Bike Festival for two people

Pisgah, NC: Lodging, bike rentals, apparel and guided rides in the Pisgah National Forest

Bikes: Made-in-USA frames from Ritchey, a carbon Salsa Beargrease and a complete Niner SIR 9

AND MUCH MORE!

This is a chance to catalyze the national work of more trails close to home and score something special in return.

Why more trails close to home? Mountain biking opportunities where people live, work and play are powerful economic drivers for local businesses and can even turn around struggling communities. They offer equitable health and wellness benefits for residents. Even in places with many great trails, more trails close to home means less pressure on existing systems, less user conflict, more progression and more FUN.

This auction supports that work and so much more.

IMBA is a start-to-finish resource. We inspire and activate communities by evaluating and ranking them. We provide training for land managers and city leaders to understand and embrace mountain bike trail systems. We provide seed funding via grant programs to get new trails off the ground. We work with local organizations to grow volunteerism to maintain those trails.

The auction is open now through October 31 for bidding. Please support a bigger, brighter future for mountain biking by bidding or donating, today.

Thank you for your support!
