This from a guy who posted a reply merely nitpicking someone who took the
time to post useful information, simply because his formatting wasn't to
your liking. (BTW, his OP was perfectly clear on my newsreader, no tweaking
required.)

It's no big surprise, of course. You do it quite often (although not
usually about /tables/ per se).

Technical about bikes is on topic. It's rec.bicycles.tech. Trying to
post tables to a newsgroup is fraught with peril because the poster has
no control over how the reader's newsreader operates. We need to make
allowances as a result.
