What's with some of these people not wearing gloves?

I know _I_ like chewing the gravel from my wounds but
these guys?

*confession*

I only glove when it's cold.

I have NEVER landed on my hands. Old judo habit.

I think you meant to say:
"I have never YET landed on my hands"? ;-)

Of course, I've never studied judo, so I hand-plant more
often. It's funny though, when I run through glass and
scuff my tyres, I do it with my bare fingers so I don't
ruin the gloves! :-S

I'll pay closer attention to see if the Glenvale riders go
without gloves. I just assumed everyone wore them?
I often ride without gloves but not racing..

Maybe you're right. But I went through all my army field phases without
gloves, because they annoyed me with all the dirt getting stuck down
them. I couldn't figure out how everyone else was cutting their hands
up. I do the same with the glass... but mine is out of necessity - I
have no cycle gloves. Most people looked at me in horror when I showed
up at the ADF champs looking like a triathlete. At least I remembered to
remove those profile bars. Wouldn't they love my commute bike - with the
little orange reflectors on the wheels.

Yep, I think it's a triathlon habit, no time to put on gloves, no
sirree!

Less clothes more time looking in the mirror?
(I know I shouldn't continue these tri-myths...
but they're so much fun! :-) )

First I would need to get me some spokey-dokeys.

Don't forget the lube. Correct application of lube is a time-consuming
process.

They're probably banned on track bikes due to
some arcane 1867 UCI ruling..

I've got to get some for my polo bike!

raises eyebrows, twiddles thumbs

Are we still talking about triathlon?

Shiny people move through the air faster, right?
