Default London beats rest of country in race to get back on its bike

Londoners are buying bikes or returning to cycling at far greater rates
than the rest of the country, analysts suggested today.

GlobalData, the analytics firm, told the Standard it estimated that nine
per cent of Londoners had bought a bike since lockdown was imposed,
compared with 4.8 per cent across the whole of the UK.

Separate figures from Mintel, the market research firm, said 40 per cent
of Londoners were cyclists and 25 per cent regular cyclists, compared
with 32 per cent and 17 per cent nationally.

Yes, but obviously more cyclists = less cars, which = less jams.
Increasing the congestion charge fee and making it 7 days a week also
helps reduce cars.
I thought that you'd support these measures.
