Another interesting selection came in the 19th round when the Dodgers
selected Joris Bert, a native of France. Bert is a product of the MLB
European Academy (2005 and 2006) and although 10 other players have
signed contracts or gone to college in the United States, Bert becomes
the first player drafted out of the academy after playing at Frank
Phillips CC in Borger, TX.

Nah, they are already there. There are a bunch of rodeo teams and
clubs in US military communities in Europe and they have Nationals as
members and there are European clubs too.
