Default gary fisher 2004 nirvana or trek 2004 hybrid 7300?? please help...

hi, i am an novice biker and am looking to get a good commuter/trail
bike and have narrowed it down to these two. the nirvana costs $429
and the 7300 costs $479. so the price is fairly negliable... i just
want to know which is the better bike. thanks... here are the specs
for each.

for the 7300 FRAMESET:
FRAME: Alpha aluminum
Men's and women's frames available in both colors.
FORK: RST CT COM I T4

WHEELS:
WHEELS: Alloy F, Shimano C201 R hub; ACE19 rims

They're both by the same manufacturer (Trek). I'd recommend going to
the local bike shop (LBS) and giving them both a spin. Buy whichever
one you like better.

I was in a similar situation with the Trek 7500FX and the Fischer
Utopia, took them both out and bought the Utopia. Similar price range
and market, but different "feel."

yup what bill said. I rode the 7100 & 7200 and bought the Fisher Tiburon
and I love it!
