Default Feeling chuffed

I am improving in fitness.

It's such a lovely day today and I haven't been out on the bike since Saturday
as I've been a bit sniffy, so I got Gino out of the garage and set off. Toured
the Norfolk lanes for a good 35 miles and at the end did the hill between
Bradenham & home. On this hill, in this particular direction, I always have to
go into my granny ring for part of the climb.

But not today!!

Did it for the first time in this direction without having to go into my granny
ring.

I am feeling chuffed with myself :-)

Cheers, helen s

What were the Easterly winds like? - they've been a bit of a pain here.

Not too bad. The winds had a cold edge to them and up on the lanes which are
exposed as surrounded by very large fields, the wind could fairly whistle
along, but on the whole it was a lovely day for cycling.

As well you might be. Stronger, leaner, fitter. Good on you!

Thanks. Certianly stronger & fitter but the leaner bit is taking a *long time*
Sigh...

If it happened overnight it wouldn't be healthy. Keep up the miles and
the sensible diet and the extra weight will come off slowly but
surely.

Did about 40 miles today. Glorious and I was sworn at by a wee stoat. My legs
ache a bit now.

Cheers, helen s
