Default Drugs in sport - a bitter pill to swallow

A good article about doping in sports.
Stopping the doping cheats is like looking for a needle in a chemical
factory. But the fight to stop the rogue athletes must go on.

Why bother. It's completely pointless.

As must the fight against rogue labs and organisations like WADA that
bring the testing into disrepute.

I've always thought a drug-olympics would make great TV. How far can
they go with doping athletes? A 3 minute mile, 90 minute marathon,
cyclists pushing 70mph around a velodrome or a 4 second 100m. We may
even get to see someone explode on TV, I'm amazed the makers of big
brother aren't planning this already.

The folks doing the testing are always going to be one step behind the
guys doping, there's too much money in it for doping to stop.

laters,

marz
