'Doctors' do NOT say that helmets should not be compulsory
Out of a poll of 1439 people on the BMJ website 68 per cent said that
bicycle helmets should not be compulsory. There is no proof that any of those that took the poll were doctors. http://gothamist.com/2011/08/03/doct...ts_shouldn.php |

It should have read 'two thirds of anonymous internet poll responders' say no to helmet compulsion. or: no credibility what so ever. |

Not really, I have just registered and been accepted as a retired doctor under an assumed name. Presumably I am now eligible to take part in polls. So anonymous is quite appropriate since there is no check made in any way, just a working email address is the only requirement. |

Its immediately picked up by the no life cycling muppets & spread by the tosspot cycling groups. Having nothing else to do, they all vote several times & then use the poll to justify their idiotic form of transport. -- Dave - Cyclists VOR. Makes you wonder, don't it? |

I was alerted to it through a cycling twitter feed so that would definitely not generate a random sample." -- Q1 2011: DfT : Pedal Cyclists KSIs : up by a massive 36% increase. It's official cycling is dangerous. |
