They're just not tested because no one cares. Regardless, some of them are doping. Doping is part of Western Culture. thanks, K. Gringioni. I may be a dumbass, but at least I don't make unfounded accusations. Doping is not a part of western culture, its an unsportsmanlike part of sports. I've read all the articles and interviews of the poor bike racer who HAD to do it to be competitive, seems to me they just want an unfair advantage, perhaps they need to change jobs. Speaking of unfounded accusations, which bike racer in an interview, said that they had to dope to be competitive? I read it in 2 recent issues of the Rodale Bicycle magazine, 2 differant interviews. I don't remember the names because I don't follow bicycle racing. Seems the feel "pressured" to dope to be competetive. Of course they only said this after being caught. |

Alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, marijuana, prozac, ritalin, ibuprofen, aspirin, antihistimines, zoloft, adderral, xanax, valium, viagra, cialis, methamphetamine, ginsing, birth control hormones. That is but a very incomplete list and if you don't know hundreds of people who use those substances, you're living in a cave. Doping is a part of Western Culture. thanks, K. Gringioni. |

It is part of every culture. Chewing betel nuts, khat leaves, and cocaine leaves. Opium eating, hashish eating. People self medicate around the world, and from the beginning of the world. Western culture has its own style: laboratory purification, laboratory modification. Extract morphine from opium, add two acetyl groups, ride the white horse. NewsFlash! I was referring to doping as in performance enhancing drugs used by athletes to improve their performance. You consider drinking coffee and taking birth control hormones doping and you call me a dumbass, perhaps it is you my friend who lives in a cave. |

BTW, caffeine in excessive quantities is banned by the UCI. And estrogen? Very powerful hormone. Stopping the reproductive process is no joke. Testosterone is no more powerful a hormone than estrogen. You just don't think of it that way because estrogen doesn't performance enhance for sport. IMO, regulating the process of creating life makes it at least as as powerful. As for calling you a dumbass: you're a ****ing thinskin newbie. I call everyone a dumbass. No exceptions. I am one too, for wasting time in these forums. thanks, K. Gringioni. |

Probably it's just a function of post-industrial society and the others will catch up/are catching up soon. thanks, K. Gringioni. |
