ANYONE can easily become addicted to some drugs. All you ever have to do is just try them in a permissive environment. Some recreational drugs can kill you the first time you try them if you are unlucky enough. Regardless, it is a fact that we live in a culture where most people dope up regularly with something. Very few are totally clean. MOST people are not into recreational drugs, not even alcohol. You need to come up with a rational explanation for why the Chinese were not able to handle opium. After all, it was just a recreational drug that seemed to be harmless. Regards, Ed Dolan the Great - Minnesota aka Saint Edward the Great - Order of the Perpetual Sorrows - Minnesota |

At least half of the local community would flunk a random drug test. At least half. Maybe three quarters. In general they function just fine, mostly restricting the use to weekend nights. Some people do get addicted. IMO, it's usually a symptom of a deeper chemical imbalance and the drug use in those people is a way of self- medicating the problem. thanks, K. Gringioni. |

BTW, caffeine in excessive quantities is banned by the UCI. And estrogen? I believe they removed the caffeine limit a few years ago. Did they add it back in? |
